Mayor Lee will address our residents in a Town Hall format. He would like to hear from you. The questions can be on any topic. What is City Hall doing or not doing that may be of a concern to you. Please join us, this will be a nice opportunity for us to get to know Mayor Lee better.

Our second speaker will be Chris Linvill, from Interior Decorator Window Treatment Designer. She will hold a free seminar on solutions for those beautiful but difficult Eichler windows. All 19th Ave Park residents should receive a postcard in the mail with an invitation. If you want to know what to do for our Eichler windows, come to her presentation.

Congratulations to our 19th Ave Park Neighbors for decorating their homes for the Holidays. By Jeanne Burke

The Beautification Committee toured the entire neighborhood to find the winners for this year’s best-decorated homes. It was a very difficult to pick out just a few homes. Many neighbors had done such a wonderful job of decorating their homes with lights and holiday decorations.

1st Place Winner was 656 Joanne Drive, the home of Russell and Janet Allgire.

2nd Place Winner was 686 Joanne Drive, the home of Jean Teresa Thrift.

3rd Place Winner was 602 Vanessa Drive, the home of Chris DeCarpio.

Honorable Mention 687 Edna Way, the home of Jesus and Maria Diaz.

Please drive by and see the decorations before they are dismantled. The winners have a plaque posted on their front lawn. Our winners will be awarded their prizes at our homeowner’s meeting on January 12th. We hope even more of our neighbors will take part in decorating their homes for the entire neighborhood to enjoy, next year.

ELECTION TIME FOR 19TH AVE PARK OFFICERS

Election time is just around the corner for the 19th Ave Park Board. If you are interested in getting involved, please drop a note to Jeanne Burke, our President, at 1603 Wolfe Drive. This is one way to have your voice count on issues that effect 19th Ave Park. We need new people to get on board and help with the running of our Homeowners Association. We have less than one meeting a month. We also would appreciate your help and your fresh ideas. Please come to our next Homeowner’s meeting on January 12th.  Who knows you may even wish to volunteer and get involved!
