Next Meeting on 3/10/2005: Part II - Hetch Hetchy Water System
Our Guest speakers will be Tony Winnicker, Director of Communications, San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC). Tony will discuss the Hetch Hetchy and the rebuilding of the regional water system, and Lillian Brown from the SFPUC will speak about chloramines and fluoridation in our water.
We had a great turn out for this subject when the Environmental Defense representative spoke to our group in November. If you have some concerns about the drinking water system and what is being recommended for the Hetch Hetchy Project, this is the meeting to come to and bring your questions.
